Enjoy a unique blend of educational and recreational opportunities in a reconstructed earthen lodge from approximately 800–1300 years ago. Additional archeological information and artifacts are covered in a 90–minute daily tour. Located on 115 acres of cedar–covered canyons, Dancing Leaf offers nature enthusiasts many scenic trails and natural springs. While it’s only 5 miles from our hotel, the Lake Maloney State Recreation Area will seem like another world. The great outdoors don’t get much greater than this incredibly breathtaking site, which features an enormous campground comprised of 132–acres and is situated on a 1,000–acre lake. Facilities include 56 pads with 30 amp hookups, showers, dump station, water, boat ramps, swimming beach, picnic tables, grills and fish cleaning station.
